
The Jamaica Information Service came to Digita aiming to become more relevant to their target audiences and increase engagement on topical and important government news and services using social media. We designed a social media strategy, trained their internal teams and embarked on social media management execution.
With careful content creation, utilising the archives and resources of the agency and engaging stories, GIFs, videos and more we have been able to grow the brand significantly since we begun.
Under our management, JIS, on a monthly basis reached over 5,247,150 people with 9,063,006 impressions. It’s audience now stands at 184,253 with a 52.109 increase in new fans since we started. Engagement rates have increased by 189.02% with a 91.6% increase in comments.
Not only do these numbers show the amazing growth of the JIS, we have revamped their image and decreased negative sentiment simultaneously among fans.
